How would one get a Ga Noi chicken?

I was looking up strange and rare chickens and I came across the Ga Noi chicken. I tried to google around and didn't really find much that advertised Ga Noi or explained the process on how to get one. Anyone had any experience in this type of thing?

Holy Cow, I'll have to agree that beauty must be in the eye of the beholder!

That breed makes "Naked Necks" almost pretty! (Just my humble opinion...)

I think you'd have to travel to Vietnam to get one. They are native to that country. Good luck with all the red tape of importing live birds.

They are very Rare & known as an oriental Gamefowl & are on the Aggressive side .

You can get some eggs on ebay, they are in the hundered dollar price ranges though

GaNoi feather slowly but adults are feathered. The one in the picture has been trimmed. Tom

I don't know anyone who has Ga Noi but there are breeders in the US. It is an Oriental Gamefowl good with people not with other chickens, brought to the US by Vietnamese refugees. You may have luck with Asil , or like websites as some Oriental breeders raise several breeds as do many of us. I admire the Orientals in general . Good Luck with your search. Bill

There is someone on here who I know that has Ga Noi. And yes they are great with people just not with other chickens.
