How WOULD they eat?

Right now I have 24 DP Chickens and 2 Ducks free ranging full time. This rooster is not NEARLY as active free ranger as my last which is why he is going to be culled when my Del replacement gets bigger. If you had this amount cooped up and they ate only feed from the free choice feeder. How much would they eat a day??

LF eat 1/4 to 1/3 lbs. a day. So your DP should eat closer to the 1/3lbs a day. 0.33lbs. x 24 = 8 lbs. Add the two ducks and its 8-9 lbs a day. As the disclaimer goes, your mileage may vary.
