ok so if i have a drake that is half khaki x half rouen and then a duck that is pure khaki campbell how would the babies look? i assume it would be 1/4 rouen 3/4 khaki?

that’s what i was thinking. the pure khaki’s are only 3 weeks old so we won’t have babies until next spring i was just wondering@Pyxis May know, I'd assume you'd have a duck that looks very similar to a Khaki.
how would that look all together?So what you're going to be looking at there is actually a mix of things. 25% will be khaki. 25% will be Nutmeg, aka chocolate mallard - this is basically kahki but not dusky. 25% will be dusky mallard. And 25% will be regular gray, like a rouen.

would the babies be able to fly?Oh, sorry, no, that's what percent of the offspring will hatch each of those colors. So for example if you hatched 20, theoretically you would expect five ducklings of each of those different colors. But it usually doesn't come out exactly perfectly like that in small hatch numbers, haha.
