How would you cook an old cockeral? (over 18 weeks old?)

Like that westonprice link!

Actually I am wondering if the increase in osteoporosis is partially due to reduced broth style cooking.

i do mine in the oven on a lil rack with a can full of herbs and water.

its called beer can chicken but i dont use beer.

i have cooked a 2 yo bird that way and i ate every bite of it .

i also cooked it on 200-225 degrees .

hope this helps and dont let everyone scare you away from eating older birds (they taste like chicken)
