Yesterday we went to eat breakfast at McDonolds. I brought home the extra margaine packets. One was left in car.. Later in day I went to take it out when noticed.. while picking up other items in car I turned it upside down not knowing it would leak.. Dribbled melted margaring across fabric front passanger seat.. I've tried oxy clean, and shout.. Still there.. We bought the car three weeks ago.. brand new.. I had my other car 5 years and never stained the seats.. the seats are a creamy off white..tan.. Thank you in advance.

Hi at Walmart there is this red can for car upholstery. It has taken out every stain possible for me even black tar from roofing. I use it on my crapets in my house even. I cant think of the name Go down the isle where they sell car stuff. Think its 4-5 bucks has a little scrubby brush on the can. WORKS WONDERS Good luck!

sol-u-mel

It has gotten permanent black marker out I used it straight for tough stains otherwise I mix with water to use as a stain remover for my clothes.

Non toxic environment friendly.

Me? I would call my carpet cleaner guy & bribe him to work his magic. I just got my own new car... and that's what I'd do: trust it to a pro.

get some brake clean from the auto parts department at your favorite mart. Spray it on and do not wipe..check it after it dries.stain will be gone.
I have used this for many years detailing cars for resale. Works on carpet and cloth furniture. Use only what You need and avoid skin contact.
