Today ar seven a,clock I let out my flock out the coop and they were,free range but one pullet was wondering in the coop so I thought she was going to last her first egg and she sat ok the nest box after give miinutes she sqauated, like mad then I went in but there was no egg

Oops so wrong I was in hurry
My pullet was sqating loud and then ran into the coop and sat on the nest box after 10 minuets, she squated even louder then I ran into the coop to the nest box but there was no egg

Just one of those crazy chickens. She may be broody.

My girls are just starting to lay. They're surprised I think get very chatty before-hand. Cute to watch.

Not broody, just practicing.......they can act very goofy at onset of lay.
Just be patient.
