Hello. My name is Paul. My family and I have just picked up our 2 Nd batch of chicks. We have 5 laying already 2 buff Orp, 2 golden comet and 1 astrolap. We recently picked up 4 Americana strun, 4 Cochin strun, 2 golden comet pullets, 3 Plymouth barred rock pulley, 3 blue Cochin pullets. We had a blast with the 1st batch lost a few to predators. Our chickens are free range but get put up at night. We also had 2 Peking ducks, but sadly one was a frisky guy and we had to give them away. We love our chickens and the eggs. This current batch is not doing as good. We lost one each night and a 3rd is going down hill as we speak.
