Are you culling the cockerel due to attitude problems?

Not at all, he's really a nice bird, it's more that I don't want to deal with fertilized eggs, and my neighbors are quite close and will not appreciate the noise.

As long as eggs are collected daily and hens are not allowed to set on them, fertilized eggs will not start developing.

The fertilized eggs are a non-issue.
As for the neighbors, you just never know! I have two close neighbors and both of them LOVE listening to my boys crow. If you are allowed to keep him, give it a try!
