I have been reading the forum for a while and I figured I need to go ahead and join. This summer, I built a 8x9 pen and started raising chickens for the first time. I have a red, black, and barred rock and we are getting 2-3 eggs everyday for my family of 4...kids are 4 and 6 and having fun with the chickens. We can't even walk around outside anymore w/o the chickens close behind.
At any rate, I am about to try my luck at raising Bob Whites. I have an incubator on the way and will start building a new pen at the beginning of the year. Just thought I would drop in and say hi from Eddy Texas. Jason
