[Burley Rooster]

Thought often about joining this site. Finally have. I live on a large farm in the middle of nowhere. I've been raising chickens for about 6 years now and have had a varied flock over the years.

Currently I have a rooster named Burley who is a cross between a RI rooster and a Jersey Giant hen. I have 4 black sexlink hens, 2 beautiful sweet welsummer hens (Marlene and Falyne), 5 Rhode Island red hens, 1 Plymouth Barred Rock hen (big momma) and 2 black sumantra hens (worthless other than to look at).

We free range during the day and coup at night and during garden growing season. We raise chickens for eggs and meat and because they are enjoyable to watch here on the farm.
