(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? - In a manner of speaking, I'm new to owning and raising chickens myself, but when I was a child, my parents had two Chinese Silkies.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? - I currently have 8 pullets and 12 eggs in my incubator!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? - I am passionate about flower and veggie gardening, horticulture, the culinary arts, jewelry craft, reading, singing, loving my kiddos, hiking and sustainable living!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. - I am a single mother of 2 beautiful children, a boy and a girl. I am also human to two cats and an aquarium full of fish. When I'm not being a backyard farmer, I work as a software engineer!
