Howdy from a Cajun in Texas

Excited to be a part of the community. My family is new to chickens and we love in a suburb of Dallas. We are allowed 4 hens, no roosters and they must be pen kept.

I should finish the coop in the morning and the run next weekend. We hope to keep Americuanas. I will post a picture of the coop tomorrow. Here is what it looks like now.

Adding an external nesting box. Should be done with roof tomorrow and maybe even the run! Also found out that where we buy or grass feed beef sells organic chicken feed with guaranteed analysis on the cheap!
