Hi Kiki! Glad to know another Texan that's dealing with this crazy heat! Can't imagine what August will be like!!!

I have a question about dust baths for week old baby chicks. We have thought about getting organic garden soil...no additives but organic dirt and peat moss. Plus sand, but we only have playground-type sand. Another thought has been herbs. I'd appreciate your feedback. THANK YOU!

I am a huge fan of peat moss. I use it for everything. I keep it year round in all of my quail cages from the very first few days of life.
