I just registered but I've read BYC many times!. I've had 2 RIR's and some kinda Barred hen for a little over a year now in a backyard in houston. Thinking of adding some americanas.

Welcome!!!! I started out last year with what I inherited and I am addicted. This year I bought 36 peeps. I did get some easter eggers too. They won't lay until Nov or spring, but I can't wait. If you order babies, just make sure you order them early in the spring so you can see the eggs by fall. Good luck!
