Bonjour and welcome from France!

My best high school poultry showing memories are of a chicken breed of French origin. I was the only kid in the area, probably the state, with La Flèche chickens. Lol

They are a little flighty, but amazing birds. They lay a beautiful white egg.

I had some hens that I kept with a Rode Island Red rooster to experiment with crossing them. Their offspring had half-buttercup style combs and beautiful coloring. Unfortunately I wasn't able to continue my experiment with them to try and get them breeding true, due to joining the military after my failed attempt at a semester of college.
