Hatching
. Just wanted to say hello from me and my family at "My small farm". We currently have 2 Isa's, 2 Rhode island reds, 11 Bared-rocks, 2 white Leghorns, and 3 Wyandotte's as far as the chickens go and then there is our Hackney pony Ferb, 2 German short haired pointers (female), 1 German Sheppard (male), a 2 cats.
The we is my wife, daughter, son and myself of course.
we started our small farm about 6 years ago with a garden then a bigger garden then 2 gardens then chickens; you understand.
We have 3 acres in a country setting and we plan on taking on one more pony, rabbits, pheasants, and more chickens in the spring. I am an avid outdoors man and come from a family of the same. My chickens free range by day and are in a secure coop by night. My garden is chemical free and cared for by hand.
I am 46 and have spent 23 years of my life as a builder and would be glad to help anyone who needs advice and hopefully I will have a good answer or at least point them in the right direction.
So here we go.....
