Hermit Homesteader in NETexas with Big White Dogs, barn cats, Rabbits (11) Chickens (65-70) Turkeys (10) Quail (45) and some more jumbos soon, 70 quail eggs hatchin on Tuesday.. I’ve had chickens and varmints for over 40 years and just Piddlin anymore, I’m not much on the internet but lookin to swap some stories and help if I can, and even learn a bit too.. ain’t too old to still learn a thing or two..

I just butchered some quail yesterday and have more eggs in my bator now.

Thanks.. I have Californian, New Zealand Whites and Florida Whites.. bred my 2 Florida White does on 5/25.. have some in grow out pen that didn’t sell last litter I need to put in freezer.. I cleaned a mess of rooster quail and got them in freezer last week and just been peelin 50 quail eggs for last hour for more pickled eggs, I sell 6-8 jars a month.. thanks again for the welcome everyone!!
