I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a newbie, I have a hen house ready and have my fencing to put up. Since I got sick this week and couldn't do anything else, I started surfing......I found this great group of chicken lovers. I have learned so much. I have changed my mind no less than 6 times on which chicks to order first. I think I am in trouble!!! Thank goodness I live in the country.

Can you believe I started out saying I would NOT get Silkies???? How silly....they turned out to be my very first chicks

I think we all change our minds time and time and time again. Mine haven't even made the official move out to the coop yet, and I'm already trying to decide on where to build the next coop!

Brushy Creek is just a stone throw away. I haven't been there....yet. We keep saying we're gonna stop in, just moved here 6 months ago from Weatherford.
