Hello! I am from a small town in oklahoma called ada. We have now become a "farm" family. We got 8 chickies (4 americauna, 2 rhode island reds, and 2 production reds) and 6 ducklings (no idea pn breed or sex yet). We are super excited for this newest "adventure" in our lives. It is my husband, myself, and 3 boys (ages 11, and twins ages 10) along with our 2 dogs ( a weimaraner and a mixed breed lab/shiba). The new babies are in their brooder for now in our work building (keeping them away from the stray cats and wild animals). We are working on building the coop/yard/run this weekend.

We are happily living on the land i grew up on and in the same house. We have 45 acres to roam on and 2 large gardens as well. One is just for cantelope and watermellon (about 1 acre) and the other just for veggies that we share with my uncle, dad, and cousin. It is also about an acre but has 2 apple trees, a pear tree, and wild plums smack in the middle of the garden.

Anyways, i can't wait to see how all this goes!
