Hello to all, first post on here. My wife and I recently purchased 3 pullets from Atwoods. After doing some research we found this site and I figured I would create an account. I believe we have Golden Comets I posted a video on youtube of them. They look about a week old. The link is below. Thank you all for the info you have already posted. If anyone could verify the type of chicks that would be great.
! Super to have you aboard! Great looking chicks - happy and healthy! They very well could be Gold Comets....some hatcheries sell red sex-linked chickens under various names...Gold Comets, Red Stars, Cinnamon Queens - they are all great layers and there is some dispute as to whether the different names are all the same bird or if there subtle differences. I only say that in case someone says that you don't have Cold Comets, you have something else. Good luck and enjoy!
