I had a vivid dream of little, yellow, fluffy chicks following me around the front yard of our newly built home in the country. I told my wife about the dream, and she bought a dozen chicks for me on April 15, 2021. WOW, did I have a lot to learn. STILL DO. Four of them have died ☹.
I am 70 years old, and never raised chickens. We just finished building our home in the country (no HOA); so this is something we always wanted to do.
We have 2 Rhode Island Reds, 3 Leghorn hens and 3 rosters whose breeds are a mystery to me. Does anyone here know what breed they are?
