My family and I (hubby, 3 kids (18,5,4)) are just starting out with the whole chicken thing. We have checked our zoning rules, figured out where we want to put the chicken coop and are drawing up our "plans" now after seeing all the wonderful coop pictures here! Still deciding on what breed(s) we want. We have never owned chickens before but look forward to the experience. I'm off to read more info but wanted to introduce myself before I got started.
