Hi All! I am new to BYC and a new chicken mommy. My four chicks were given to me as a surprise gift from my wonderful sister-in-law on New Year's Day. Since I had just moved into a new home, boy was I surprised but what a joy they've been. I have a Barred Plymouth Rock, a Rhode Island Red and two Arucana Americana's (Easter Eggers). They are about 6 weeks old and just graduated from a large dog crate to their own outdoor castle. I'm looking forward to fresh eggs this summer. Happy to meet you all and learning more about BYC!
