I found out about this forum when someone posted a link on antoher chicken forum. I live in Jackson county, Ohio and im 26 years old. Besides raising chickens, I am a big trapper. I sell fur in the winter and do predator and animal damage control in the spring and summer. Iwork full time as a correction officer for the state to pay the bills. I look forward to enjoying this site and learning from some of you. Hopefully I can bring some useful information about predator control as well.

Welcome from Va. I just went full time on the ADC work the last coupla years. I have discovered if you whack and stack hard enough during the season you have a lot less preds to deal with the rest of the year that in turn makes exclusion a lot easier. Good luck with your birds. I finally am incubating a few chickens I have mostly hatched quail.
