Hello everyone! Just joined so I'm just here to say a quick hi and introduce myself. 
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I've had chickens before, but not for a while. My first flock was a trio of Light Brahmas, when we lived in TX several years ago. However, we got those as adults, so I'm new to raising the youngsters!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? I currently have three girls (this is a good number for us). They are currently about 13 weeks old (got them at 8 weeks).
(3) What breeds do you have? I have a Blue Andalusian (Maui), a Golden Polish (HeiHei), and a Black Australorp (Moana). I absolutely LOVE the crest on HeiHei!! She's a funny character.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? I have seen the web site come up in many Internet search results, and just finished reading a book ("Still Life with Chickens") which mentions it many times as an invaluable resource!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I love photography, hiking, running, and generally being craft-y.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. My family (hubby and two sons - 17 & 15) and I moved to southern CA from NH in March (job change). We live and work at a camp and it seems almost everyone here has chickens! We also have four cats and three parakeets. I work in the housekeeping department here and also the gift shop when needed.
