I found this site by googling about trimming rooster spurs. What a great site and I'm glad to have found it. My wife and I have a cozy little 100 year old farmhouse in central Texas. We found the property a couple of years ago and the house was structurally in good shape but just needed to be fixed up to be livable. Now we have 3 dogs, 4 cats, a bunch of cows, and about 30 free ranging chickens. Our chickens are my pets. They enthusiastically follow me everywhere I go when I go outside and hop up in my lap when I sit in the porch swing.
