Hi y'all, My name is Kim. I have a chicken coop in my backyard that consists of 8 chickens (we had 12 but recently had 4 killed by a nasty opossum we caught it and released it) Our chickens are just now starting to lay again after being scared by the opossum. We call it Lucy's Chicken Ranch after my late great grandmother Lucille who has raised chickens her whole life, after she passed I inherited her property and took over her chickens as well. Im still learning alot though because I never listened as a kid :/

I'm sorry to hear about your losses. Predators are the chicken keeper's constant enemy, I'm afraid. I think it's really nice that you are keeping your Great Grandmother's memory alive with your chickens. May she bless you and your little flock!
