He yall! Name is Susanne and we are officially first time Chicken owners. We have built our coop and run, and brought 6 ladies home and a Cockerel. They were all from a local chicken lover, that had way too many and was trying to find good homes for them. I have a variety of different chickens, and our cockerel is a Silver colored Silkie. I already love them all to death, just like our goats. Hope to mingle often, but that might not be too possible, as I am going back to school for a degree in Graphic Design.

Thanks for the Welcome! We are in Wilson County. Showbarnmom, you say Hill Country? Comal County Canyon Lake Area? We are close to San Antonio, Adkins to be exact :-) Looking forward to getting to know you all!
 
Great! We used to live in Canyon Lake. Always went shopping in New Braunfels. Try to go up there as often as I can
