Just wanted to make a quick intro post. Moved to TX last Spring and just purchased and moved into our first home in TX. We have always owned homes in HOAs so it was important for us to get out of the confines of the HOA lifestyle and into a home where we could use our yard as we see fit. We moved in two weeks ago, and while there are still boxes everywhere, we have already planted our garden, purchased a double-barrel compost, two barred rock and two rhode island red pullets and our coop should be delivered tomorrow. Looking forward to a new chapter in our lives as urban farmers!
