My name is Teresa, my hubby of 33 years and I are starting from scratch with 7 acres to build a small farm that we can retire on and be able to survive on we currently have chickens, turkeys, muscovy ducks, quail, pheasants, rabbits, and pigs. Goats and a milk cow are next on the list.

Sounds like you guys are pretty self sufficient! It is a nice feeling to know where your food comes from. Nothing better than fresh eggs right out from under the hen or fresh meat for the table.
