(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yeah, I would say I'm new to chickens. Got my first flock in late Feb/early March of this year.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 5 girls right now!
(3) What breeds do you have?
Barred Plymouth Rock, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Australorp, 2 Easter Eggers
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Hmmm, probably an internet search that brought me here!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I read (A LOT), bake and cook, garden, do home projects with my husband. Oh, and I'm a chauffeur to my 3 kids. Wait, is that a hobby??
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 2 cats, 3 kids ages 2-9, 1 husband (who is like 1/2 kid himself), and my sister lives with me. I am a behavior analyst, so I totally plan on teaching my chicks something cool.
And I'm a Girl Scout troop leader, I deliver meals for Meals on Wheels, and am generally constantly running around. But life is good.
