My wife and I picked up some birds over Christmas from my sister-in-law. So far so good. I joined to listen/look for advice and tips, and also need to add a coop/run to separate the bantams from the larger birds. So I will be looking for info on that as well.

Getting about 3 dozen eggs a week from 8 hens. Curiously, I eat less eggs now than I used to.

Look forward to picking your brains.

I've already picked up some info today. When I get inspired, I'll get some pics of my birds. Other than the Bantams, I have no idea what breed they are. I was raised a suburbinite in Minnesota, but fell in love with Texas back in 90-94. I also fell out of love with -40F temps.
