(1a) Are you new to chickens? Well sort of new, we had some before but had to rehome them when we moved.
(1b) When did you first get chickens? About 20 years ago, but starting anew with a "real hen house and run".
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 0, planning on 12 pullets soon!
(3) What breeds do you have? Want to get Americana's and I have a source for buying them as soon as I have my coop and run and feeders completed.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Eggs! Amusement and fertilizer for my gardens and the vegetables will help feed them!!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening, (vegetable and flower, oh and some succulents) Any form of art, painting, drawing, crafting.
(6) Tell us about your family, Marred mom of two adult kids. pets, 2 Australians Shepherds, 1 outdoor cat, and some cows on the ranch.
Your occupation? Self employed owner of a multimedia company.
(7) How did you find BYC? On Facebook and I have known about BYC for about 2 years. I finally joined your awesome community, because I needed advice, ideas and most importantly I wanted to learn everything I can for successful chicken care!
