My name is Barbara and we are new to raising backyard chickens. We have 7 Barred Rocks and 8 Black Australorps. They were both July 12th, 2022 and we received them when they were two days old. We managed to keep them alive during the arctic blast! YAY! And they started laying their first eggs mid-December. They are laying about 11-12/day now. We are very excited to learn more about raising chickens and already thinking about getting more.

Welcome! Black Australorps ad Barred Rocks are great breeds. Enjoy those fresh eggs!
