Hey everyone! I’m new to BYC and I just wanted to introduce myself!

I grew up having chickens and other livestock, but we’re finally getting around to getting some for ourselves. My husband and I, and our 3.5 kids have put together an impressive coop with 20 nesting boxes.

At the moment we have 8 Rhode Island Reds, 6 Buff Orpingtons, 5 Black Sex Link, 2 Americana’s, 4 Easter Eggers, and 4 little chicks that we have no idea what they are
We also have 4 broad white breasted turkey.

We’re really enjoying our large flock, and so are the kids! We even have a Shetland sheepdog, mini poodle mix who has been herding for us!

Anyway, I can’t wait to dive into the community. Cheers!
