Howdy Ya'll!!
I've been lurking around for a while now & decided its time to join. My name is Katherine & I'm from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. I'm a first time owner of 6 chicks & new to BYC. Guess you could say I'm learning as I go... bought chickens here... bought a book there... THEN I found BYC!
The husband is currently in the process of building a coop (8x6) w/ a run (8x16) for my lil' big chicks. (roughly between 4 & 6 weeks I guess) I have 3 Brown Leghorns, 1 Ameraucana (white?), 1 Black Sex Link & 1 RIR. My other pets include 3 dogs, 3 puppies, 3 cats, 2 kittens & a pot belly pig.
I was going to wait on getting chicks till next year (seeing how i just started a garden for the first year) but I guess I got chick fever & couldn't help myself! Anywho just wanted to stop in & say Howdy! How Ya'll? N Good day!
