HI everyone!
My name is Mariah and I am fairly new to chicken keeping. I got my first chicks September 27th and live out in the country on 4.5 acres in Central Illinois.
I currently have 9 hens and 2 roosters. Out of those I have 2 cinnamon queens, 2 silver laced Wyandottes, 2 Rhode Island reds, 2 Barred Rocks and 3 mixed bantams. The bantams are 2 months old (2 roos and a hen) and all the others are 4 months.
I found this site trying to Google search what kind of chickens my bantams were
Currently, I am a beekeeper, I have an angora rabbit to collect fiber from so I can learn to spin, I plan on getting alpacas next year and this spring expanding my flock by 10 chickens
Trufully, I am a warehouse manager by day and a hobby farm enthusiast by night. Maybe a chickenlady if you will?
