(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We have had chickens for about a week, they are still in a brooder in the garage but we are building a "Grow out" tractor this weekend.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
well, probably too early to really tell but I'm thinking eggs at the moment
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I sort of garden and I crochet and pretend I can sew
I used to do needlework and I occasionally loom knit
I homeschooled my kiddos(in my last year with the last one)
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.

I've been stalking BYC on and off for years. I just never had the place to do livestock type critters. Bought 9 1/4 acres in January so I figure its time to legit join.
