Just wanted to say hey! my husband and i just got into "chicken farming" last fall....it started out in a tiny coop and we only wanted 4 hens.........well, now we are up to 1 chicken tractor and 3 coops and well over 50 birds.....we have sold some, bought some and killed one....so i just stop counting! i never thought i would love chickens as much as i do, they are WAY BETTER than cats or dogs. i wanted to join so that i could some other friends that 'talk chicken'. i can ramble on forever.....its just like all the people at work about their kids.....but my 'kids' are much nicer.

Your story sounds alot like mine. I had them when I was a kid. But had forgotten how much fun they were. We started with 4 last year. Now have well over 50.. I stopped counting too!!
