Hey everyone! I’m new here. I used to have chickens as a kid, and only ever had to collect eggs and clean up after them. Last year I bought my first chickens in years! I got 8, 5 grew up and became roosters so I was left with my 3 girls. Dolly,Greta and Zora. They follow me around like dogs and are very attached. About 4 weeks ago, I purchased another 6. 1 is a rooster and I will keep him until he’s older and bring him to a farm not far from me.
Basically, my question is, how do you know when they’re old enough to be blended with the older girls? I want to ensure everyone’s safety as well as everyone’s overall health since they can be pretty finicky. Any reccomendations?
