(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Brand new to chickens. Been wanting to do this for years and then the thought of finding additional ways of being able to provide for my family has helped me make the decision to move forward.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 10 chickens delivered on 3/26.
(3) What breeds do you have? Not sure. Got a mix of egg layers from Tractor Supply. Would love some help identifying.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Looking forward to being able to answer this. So far, prepping the yard and building the coop with my kids has been a lot of fun for me. Kids range in age from 11 to 18.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Computers, yard work, board and table top games, woodworking.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Great family - married for almost 20 years, 4 awesome kids. 2 cats (indoors).
