Very nice intro! You and I would probably be friends in the real world; we certainly can be in BYC world. I also have chickens and ducks, eat a mostly plant-based diet, and can't personally euthanize any of my own pets.
On the other hand, you are CLEARLY much better at crocheting than I am. But, I pick up a hook every winter and give it a try!
