Pretty new to keeping chickens! We got our first 10 last December, so it's only been a few months. We have 7 adult chickens, and now 4 new babies. 1 Roo (I would guess RIR, but he was a random freebie lol), 3 Easter Eggers, and 3 Barred Plymouth Rocks. The new additions are two Austrawhite crosses, and two Olive Eggers. I love watching my chickens be silly and feeding them treats. Collecting their beautiful eggs, and getting to cook and bake with them is a huge plus too! Probably similar to a lot of others here, I love being outside, gardening (especially the harvest part!), and camping. Here in Michigan, we also get some snow and I still love being outside then!

I'm over here to your west a bit, in Wisconsin, so yup, know all about that snow and cold that's coming. Hubby makes paths for the chickens, and I, otherwise, none of us would get out all winter lol.
