Howdy from beautiful downtown Deer Park, WA, about 20 miles north of Spokane, WA. My lovely bride decided that we need some chickens for eggs. Of course, it is unstated that she will not be involved in raising them, just eating the eggs.
I haven't found any chicken coops that tickle my fancy, so I designed my own. The design, if it can be called such, will likely be changed 5 or 6 times over the course of the build. Right now, the peeps live in the guest bathroom.
Other hobbies: Garden Railroading, photography, bicycling, canoeing and kayaking, and white water rafting. Oh, yeah, downhill skiing.
My children are now all adults. They take their snowboarding seriously. We went together a month or so ago, which was nice. I must have missed something. Ten years ago, it was, "C'mon, Sarah, you can make it down this hill. I know you can." Five years ago it had morphed into "Hey, Dad, can't you keep up any more?" A few weeks ago, it was "Dad, we'll stay with you to make sure you get down this hill."
Wait a minute, I want an Instant Replay! I missed something.
Anyway, this looks like a nice place to hang out.
