Howdy Ya'll.

Newbie here. So much information we are looking forward to digging thru. We have a 14acre small farm we are trying to bring back to life in Hot South Central Texas.

from California! Do you have chickens yet?
 
Yes, we do! We have 10 adults chickens. 7 game hens that was given to us and boy can they get broody, 1 barred rock, 1 rhode island or hampshire red, 1 white leg horn rooster. These are all pretty much mix bred. Nothing pure. Now to the fun. In Aug we ended up with 30 guineas, 11 white leg horns, 9 arcunas/americanas, and 10 red stars. We got the guineas from strombergs and the rest from mcmurray. So it will be an adventure! Figure we just jump in with both feet and see what happens.

Grand total at this time is 70 birds!
