Secondary drying incubator humidity?

When my broody hen came off the nest last Saturday I hatched the last viable egg in an incubator the same day.I only raised the humidity to 50% before placing the egg in there .It dried pretty quick and was with momma and the other chicks before dark

Everyone is out. Only two seem to be the breeds that I paid for, two others might be and two I don't have a clue. Everyone is happy and healthy with no issues...and cute of course. Those are the important things!

I pull chicks after a couple hours (quail) when I have 2-5 and toss them in the brooder, I’ve even had a couple go straight from egg to brooder without issues, my incubator runs 20 or 80%, so nothing dries during hatching! I do love dry hatching though, though not quite that dry!
