Hello there! April here. Glad to be a member of BYC. I do not currently have any chickens, the city I am in won't allow it, but I do have ducks. 4 of them. We have 2 pekins and 2 mallards. We also have 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 rabbits, a rat, a snake, and a turtle. Happy family of 13! We recently purchased a home where I am able to raise my animals and put in a garden so we are trying to homestead as much as possible. Excited to learn all about raising my feathered friends!

Thanks for the welcome! I'm not sure why chickens were specifically outlawed? I adore my ducks, ADORE them. They are hilarious and nothing makes me happier than calling my babies and they come running, quacking all the way! Not to mention I have at least one egg every day so that helps.
