Hey!
Since I clearly don't have enough to do in my daily life, we have decided to get some chickens! I ordered my coop yesterday and am now on the hunt for some chickens. It's proving to be a bit more difficult then i had hoped. I am really wanting to get some 10-15 is old pullets as I don't have the time to devote to little chickies. I'd like to get 2 rhode island reds and 2 sex linked comets but can't find any in this area..plus Im not even sure where to look!

LOL...Loved your opening line about not having enough to do in life! Ha!

Have you checked with your feed stores? Sometimes they can special order you birds. Or check their bulletin boards....sometimes people leave fliers with their flocks for sale. Call around to the National Chicken Hatcheries...many are still selling chicks. (Meyers, Ideal, Murray McMurray, Privett, just to name a few)
