HSG next week and IUI next month

I'm excited but nervous. I'm going in for a HSG next week to check my uterus and tubes. If everything is fine, than I have unexplained infertility and will be doing IUI and clomid next month. Wish me luck, this is going to be paid for out of pocket since my insurance doesn't cover infertility.

The HSG isnt bad at all so dont be nervous! And clomid...my only advice is take it at night before bed. the hot flashes from it are killer but if you can sleep thru it life is better lol! good luck!!!!

I've been told by two doctors that HSG's sometimes have a theraputic effect and some couples end up conceiving more easily afterward. Not my case, just saying...

What I think is so stupid about this is insurance will cover VIAGRA!!!!!

WHY not the cost of assisting with conception???????? DUMB!

Our insurance would cover everything until a diagnosis was made, after that you had to cough up the funds.

It happened to me! First cycle after the HSG I got pregnant. Hope it happens for you as well!
