Hubby's project this week-end was to install a larger brooder in the outside coop. Our babies will be ready to move outside in probably another two or three weeks. By then the temps will have gotten warmer at night hopefully. Don't know why I didn't ask him to just build it and put it in the workshop, oh yeah, it's to big to get through the door, LOL
This one is 6' long x 4' wide and takes up half of the coop. He couldn't get it through the door so he made it in sections and assembled it inside. This should take them up to hopefully 12 weeks or so. The back part has solid sides and bottom with a 2 x 4 at the end of the solid floor, this part has wire on the top this is where the light will go if still needed. the other end is wire on three sides and the bottom and the floor is also very small coated wire. Here's the Big Girl Hutch for growing out:

He's really worked hard and I keep saying, we need to fix this or do that I think he's tired of my suggestions
